Exploring New Applications for Wood Pellets and Fibre
At BC Global Energy Inc., our focus extends beyond producing premium Canadian softwood pellets. As we continue to grow our operations in Northern Ontario, we are also developing practical solutions around the many ways high-quality wood fibre can be used — from residential and industrial heating to animal bedding and new specialty applications.
In this edition, we take a closer look at some of these developments, alongside important milestones in our industry involvement and certification plans.

Industrial Pellet Heating — Turning Pellets into Heat
BC Global Energy is preparing to introduce an industrial pellet heating solution for commercial, agricultural and industrial applications where substantial and reliable heat is required.
The system uses wood pellets as its primary fuel source and is intended for applications such as warehouses, workshops, agricultural buildings, production facilities and other large spaces.
Alongside our industrial solution, we are developing a broader offering of pellet-based heating solutions for customers with different heating requirements.
Our objective is simple: we don’t only want to supply the fuel — we also want to help our customers use it effectively.
More detailed information about our heating solutions, technical specifications and availability will be introduced through our website.

BRASAVIA™ — Developing a New BBQ Pellet Concept in Mexico
BC Global Energy is expanding its pellet expertise beyond traditional heating and animal bedding applications.
In Mexico, we are currently developing BRASAVIA™ Premium BBQ Pellets — a new product concept built around locally sourced Mexican raw materials, including agave and selected orchard woods.
The project is being developed in Jalisco, Mexico, with the objective of creating distinctive BBQ and smoking pellets that combine pellet-production expertise with the character and flavour profiles of Mexican biomass and wood species.
Unlike heating pellets, BBQ pellets are developed specifically for food preparation. Raw-material selection, aroma, smoke profile, consistency and the absence of unsuitable additives are therefore central considerations in product development.
BRASAVIA™ is currently in development, and further information on formulations, flavours, packaging and commercial availability will follow as the project progresses.
From Mexican soil to unforgettable flavor. More to come as this project develops.
